Draft. Not legal advice. Wenna is currently a waitlist only, and this policy covers what we collect at that stage. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor and will be replaced with a complete policy covering health information before any clinical features (intake, consults, tracker, prescriptions) go live.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 29, 2026

1. We respect your privacy

Wenna (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your right to privacy and is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our waitlist members and website visitors. We adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy sets out how we collect and treat your personal information.

2. Collection of personal information

Wenna is currently a waitlist for an upcoming telehealth service for women experiencing perimenopause and menopause symptoms. When you join the waitlist, we collect:

  • Your email address.
  • Your first name, if you provide it.
  • Your answer to the optional “biggest symptom” question, used only in general, aggregated terms to understand demand. It is not reviewed by a clinician and does not create a health or patient record.

We do not currently collect health records, intake responses, or any information from a clinical consultation, because those features do not exist yet.

3. How we collect your personal information

We collect personal information directly from you when you join the waitlist through this website. We do not purchase or receive your personal information from third parties.

4. Use of your personal information

We use your email to notify you when Wenna launches and, if you opt in, to send occasional updates about our progress. We do not sell your information, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers on this site.

5. Disclosure of your personal information

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except where required by law (such as a court order or law enforcement request), or with service providers who help us operate the waitlist (currently our database provider, Supabase) and are bound to keep it confidential.

6. Security of your personal information

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information you provide from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. Waitlist information is stored with Supabase and protected by access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. How long we keep your information

We retain waitlist information for as long as you remain on the waitlist, so we can notify you when Wenna launches. If you ask us to remove you, or once the waitlist closes and you have not converted to a client, we will securely delete or de-identify your information within a reasonable time.

8. Notifiable data breaches

We are subject to the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If we experience a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to anyone whose information is involved, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by law, and take immediate steps to contain and remediate the breach.

9. Access to your personal information

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, or request a correction, at any time by emailing hello@wenna.health.

10. Complaints about privacy

If you have a complaint about how we've handled your personal information, please email hello@wenna.health first so we can resolve it directly. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):

11. Opt out

You can leave the waitlist and have your information deleted at any time by emailing hello@wenna.health.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, particularly before Wenna launches its clinical service. Any changes will be posted on this page. Before intake, consults, prescriptions, or the symptom tracker go live, this policy will be replaced with a complete version covering health information, reviewed by a solicitor.
