Does this replace my GP?+
No. Wenna works alongside your GP, not instead of them. If your nurse practitioner thinks you need a GP or specialist, they'll refer you. That's a normal part of your care, not a failure of the service.
Will I see the same nurse practitioner every time?+
Yes. You're matched with one NP and you keep seeing them for follow-ups, so you're not re-explaining your history every time.
Is this covered by Medicare?+
Wenna is a private service. We're not assuming a Medicare rebate applies. Pricing will be published before launch.
What happens to my health information?+
It's stored in Australia, encrypted, and only accessible to your care team. Every time a clinician looks at your record, that access is logged.
Do I need a diagnosis before joining the waitlist?+
No. Joining the waitlist just puts you in line to book an initial consult once we launch. Nothing clinical happens until you speak with your NP.
What if it isn't perimenopause?+
Your NP looks at your full history before suggesting anything. If something else looks like it's going on, they'll say so and point you toward the right care.
